Royal Institute of Nursing, Jaito Sarja celebrated” WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY” in its campus. The theme of day was:
“Healthy Heart beat- Healthy Blood Pressure”. It was introduced by Ms. HardeepKaur(Nursing Tutor) also, She welcomed all students, management Committee and whole faculty. After this Ms. RajwantKaur(HOD Medical Surgical Nursing department) gave presentation, in which, she showed video about CPR and Hypertension. Quiz competition was held among G.N.M. 1st Year, G.N.M. 2nd Year, B.Sc. (N) 1st Year & B.Sc. (N) 2nd Year. Then, Ms. Minal Bhatia (Clinical Instructor) presented the disease condition where she told about the definition, causes sign &symptoms, complications, types and assessment of hypertension in her detailed PowerPoint Presentation.
Afterwards, Msd. Ekta Clinical Instructor explained prevalence and risk factors about it. More over role of nurse & Nursing Diagnosis illustrated by students of B.Sc. (N) 3rd Year Kiranjot and Rajwinder resp. followed by AmandeepKaur&RavneetKaur who provided Health Education involving Physical Education & Diet.
Also Ms. MandeepKaur (Senior Nursing Tutor) awarded regarding its Myths and research studies presentations& Digital Monitoring of Blood-Pressure was done by students Parminder Singh, Kamaldeep Kaur & Sukhmanpreet Kaur.
At last, Ms. Rintu Chaturvedi Principal of RIN shared her precious words and distributed prizes to winners of quiz competition along with Director Sir, Vice Principal, finally, vote of thanks was delivered Ms. Hardeep Kaur .In the way, the knowledgeable and effective seminar was conducted by Medical Surgical Department.
